Electric Toothbrush Steps for Using the Connect App:
1. Please install the brush head correctly by aligning it with the drive shaft and inserting it; no rotation is necessary.
2. Open the Tooth Defender app and go to the home screen. If this is your first time using the app, you’ll need to register. Simply tap the “Register” button at the bottom of the home screen to sign up.
3. Set the hand (left or right) used to hold the toothbrush, gender, and other preferences.
4. After completing registration, enter your username and password, click "Log In," and you'll be taken to the main page.
5. After gently shaking the toothbrush or turning it on, turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and open the app; the app will automatically connect to the toothbrush.
6. Tap “Health” on the home screen, select “Brushing Plan,” and set the brushing time and mode. The default setting is Standard Mode, with a brushing time of 2.5 minutes.
7. Return to the main page, tap the blue rectangular area at the bottom to open the toothbrushing screen.
8. Squeeze out an appropriate amount of toothpaste, then press the power button to start the device once it’s in your mouth to prevent the toothpaste from splashing or falling out.
9. Gently move the brush head back and forth in small, slow strokes between your teeth. Follow the app’s prompts to brush each area; the screen will flash when you position the toothbrush correctly. Do not brush too hard. If you feel short, rapid vibrations during brushing, this indicates it’s time to move to a different area.
10. When brushing your teeth using the app, you must finish the entire brushing session before complete data is displayed.
11. After brushing your teeth, point the toothbrush head toward the stream of water and rinse it thoroughly.
Electric Toothbrush Unable to Connect: Solutions
1. The product uses the latest smart Bluetooth (LBT, smart Bluetooth, BT 5.0)
Support varies by phone model. Please make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on each time you use the app. When using it for the first time, simply turn on your phone's Bluetooth and open the app; no additional pairing is required.
2. If, after opening the app, the screen continues to display the "Searching for Bluetooth" page and indicates that Bluetooth is not connected, please turn off Bluetooth and the app on your phone, then turn them back on and try connecting via Bluetooth again. If you still cannot connect, please press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn off the device, then press and hold it for another 5 seconds to turn it back on, and try connecting via Bluetooth again.
3. Disconnection and Reconnection
After remaining idle for 20 seconds, the toothbrush will automatically enter low-power mode, and Bluetooth will turn off. To wake it up, simply give the toothbrush a gentle shake; the indicator light will illuminate for 1.5 seconds. If the Bluetooth connection is lost during use, pick up the toothbrush to ensure the indicator light is on, wait a moment until the startup screen appears, and then press the button to turn it on and resume use.
