For a leading US digital dental and clinic group, we developed an HD WiFi endoscope sonic toothbrush that connects home oral care with clinic-side monitoring. The project combined waterproof micro-imaging, AI visual diagnostics, encrypted cloud transmission, and preventive dental care workflows.
The client wanted to stream 1080P real-time oral video from a humid, dark, and narrow brushing environment. This required a compact camera, LED lighting, WiFi transmission, waterproof sealing, and thermal control inside a slim toothbrush structure. The app also needed to identify plaque, calculus, and gum inflammation while protecting sensitive patient image data.
We developed a 4.2mm waterproof micro-endoscope with a shadowless LED ring and anti-fog nano-coated lens. A micro-WiFi module was engineered into the sealed handle for real-time low-latency video streaming. We also supported AI visual recognition for plaque and gum condition alerts, along with encrypted cloud transmission for secure clinic-side monitoring.
Clinical tracking showed a 42% reduction in early-stage gingivitis and a 35% reduction in dental plaque among users within 12 months. AI visual alerts helped increase clinic booking rates by 68%. The project also supported 4 utility patents related to waterproof optoelectronic integration and AI visual oral diagnostics.
