For a premium US oral aesthetics brand, we developed a luxury minimalist sonic toothbrush with a metal-and-TPU handle, refined logo treatment, and a wall-mounted wireless charging dock. The project focused on high-end industrial design, waterproof reliability, and rapid mass production for luxury retail launch.
The client required a flagship toothbrush that felt premium in both appearance and hand feel. The main difficulty was bonding anodized aluminum alloy with soft TPU while keeping the whole body IPX7 waterproof under high-frequency sonic vibration. The brand also needed a durable logo finish on metal and a compact waterproof charger with wireless charging, magnetic mounting, wide-voltage support, and night light functionality.
We used advanced dual-shot co-injection molding to fuse the non-slip TPU layer with precision-machined aluminum parts. For the logo, we applied curved-surface exposure technology to create a clean, high-gloss, chemical-resistant finish. Our engineering team also integrated wireless charging coils, a rotating wall dock, and ambient light sensors into a fully sealed rubber-coated charging base.
The project delivered 500,000+ units within 6 months and supported launch across 500+ US luxury department stores and dental aesthetic salons. The product achieved an extremely low return rate of below 0.05%, helping the client secure a strong bestseller position in the premium oral care category.
