For a top-tier Taiwan dental care and lifestyle brand, we developed a high-fashion sonic toothbrush with blue light whitening, UVC cap sterilization, wireless resonant power, and a crystal-like travel design. The project combined luxury appearance, advanced optoelectronics, and stable large-scale production.
The client wanted a portable toothbrush with whitening blue light in the brush head and UVC sterilization inside the cap, but without adding batteries, wires, or exposed contacts. The handle also required a flawless faceted appearance similar to crystal jewelry, while the brush head needed a complex bristle structure that combined ultra-soft inner bristles with stronger outer cleaning bristles.
We developed a wireless resonant power module that transfers energy from the handle to the brush head and cap without physical contacts. The luxury handle was produced through 5-axis CNC faceting to achieve a diamond-like surface effect. We also customized anchorless tufting equipment to create a dual-zone bristle layout for both gentle comfort and effective cleaning performance.
The project scaled to more than 1,200,000 units within 2 years, with a 99.92% factory pass rate. The product helped the client reinforce its image as a high-fashion dental care brand, while the split design reduced post-consumer plastic waste by 40% and supported multiple eco-design recognitions.
